To make the new amateur pilots web app a success, we need five team roles that will be able to complete the project. Below is the list of the teams’ roles.

  1. Product Manager – The project manager in this will be responsible for setting the product’s vision and strategy. He will be responsible of fully understanding the intent of the new app fully so as to be able to generate, develop and fully curate new ideas. He will also be responsible for delivering operating plan.
  2. User Experience Designer – This project needs a well talented user experience designer to do wireframing which will create efficient, relevant and all-round experience for the pilots who will use the web app. He will ensure that the web app’s interacting functions such as buttons, page transitions, and animations in the app are smooth for easy navigation around the app. Another responsibility will be to ensure prototyping (interactive drafts of the app that the pilots are going to use).
  3. Quality Assurance Manager – The Quality assurance manager will play the role of paying attention to the performance of the app. He will ensure the app is tested for its security, usability, portability (operate from different devices) from the users’ perspective which will be done in presence of a group of pilots.  He will also ensure the app is tested to ensure the implemented features meet the requirements to offer a seamless end user experience and fulfil project’s requirements to ensure the product offers high quality services.
  4. Design Engineering Manager – I will play this role. I can work on both back end and front-end codes. I will create the codes for the parts that the pilots will be able to see and interact with in the app which is the front end. I will also play the role of creating the back-end codes which is the things that are behind the running application or rather the application architecture that includes the database and services and how they should be integrated together as well back up and security settings.
  5. Digital Marketing manager – she will be in charge of digital marketing planning that includes creating marketing materials, create digital content, create social media marketing posts and email marketing of the application. She will also be responsible for the development and implementation of the SEO strategy for the application, optimization of the digital content and SEO updating for search. For the purpose of budgeting the lady will handle the graphic design role of branding the application like logos and style guide since she is also very talented in that area.
